A Real American Hero?

Iron Man 2 opens tomorrow. That is, if you live in the United States of America. If you lived in the UK, you could’ve seen Iron Man 2 last week. How is that even possible?

Iron Man is an American super hero. Tony Stark is a product of American Capitalism. He is America. Iron Man fights Communism. But for some horrible reason, we get Iron Man 2 late. It just doesn’t feel right.

Anyways, I worry for Iron Man 2. It’s currently trending average on Rotten Tomatoes. I think it’s suffering from a case of Spider-man 3-itis. Just too many characters and it becomes a big wrestling match.

Just look at the number of heroes and villains:
1. Iron Man
2. Sam Rockwell
3. Mickey Rourke
4. War Machine
5. Scarlett Johansson
6. Audi R8
7. Nick Fury
