‘A Volume Failed To Mount’ + Netatalk

Are you getting errors like ‘A Volume Failed To Mount’ after you upgrade Netatalk?

Delete the .AppleD* folders at the root of your shares. Or just mv them to a backup if you don’t trust me.

.AppleDB/ .AppleDesktop/ .AppleDouble/

I’m getting the error because my Mac wants to mount a network drive that no longer exists. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Do you have the volume configured to automatically mount when you log in? You can check this by going to Accounts and looking at your Login Items.
