Richard Herring and Stewart Lee

Richard Herring is one of my favorite comedians. Stewart Lee is one of my favorite comedians. Stewart Lee and Richard Herring together are one of my favorite double acts. If I lived in London, I would seriously wound to go to this show.

To illustrate, here is the last time these two were on stage together

Just go on Youtube and search for Fist of Fun/This Morning With Richard Not Judy Clips. They won’t disappoint.

Also, if you’re the type who likes to have outbursts of laughter at work, be sure to listen to the Collings and Herrin Podcast. You laugh and learn. Since they talk about what’s in the newspaper the day they record.

The Future Is Breadcrumbs

Working on my Lab :( , noticed a new option in Eclipse 3.4m6

“Show in Breadcrumb”

Turns out Eclipse has Breadcrumb navigation for Classes

On first blush, you think it’s pretty useless. But it has some merit. Like if you want to maximize your editor workspace, you can now hide the Outline pane, and still have most of the functionality by using breadcrumbs. You can even hide the Navigator pane, since you can browse package structure. But I think that’s taking things a bit too far. One pane at a time.

Thanks Eclipse!

You should’ve been there

Last night was great

British Sea Power was amazing.

The Loft was amazing.

British Sea Power was just as awesome as I expected. They really played music that I really enjoyed. What more can I ask? Well they might’ve had more merchandise. They only had one No Lucifer shirt in XL. And they didn’t have any more buttons, so I took the ones from the display. Long wanted to buy a No Lucifer shirt, but they didn’t have any in his size. I was also hoping they would have their mug for sale. And as a testament of how truly awesome their music is, while I was unhooking the buttons from the display, a really old guy with a cane and everything came up and started talking to me about how great they are. And how he really enjoyed the latest album (Do You Like Rock Music?) and the one before (Open Season).

They really have some Awesome Shirts though. This is the shirt I bought

No Lucifer Shirt

And I would’ve bought these if they had them

And these are the buttons

It was my first concert at a club in a few years. I think the last show I went to was Ash at Trees(?). Previously, I wrote off going to clubs to see bands. Mainly cause it would be hot and smokey, and by the end of the night I would be miserable. And when I got home, I’d cough up a lung. I was happy when Trees closed down. I was happy when Deep Ellum died. What can I say, I don’t like to suffer for my (watching) art. But the Loft as a venue, was great. They had a balcony. And it wasn’t smoky and stuffy inside. And it had a nice view of Downtown Dallas. It was everything I ever wanted in a music venue. Too bad that their calendar wangs chung.

British Sea Power and Caribou are the only 2 bands that I recognize on that list. The rest are mostly jokey bands.

Long is amazing!

Man, my Chinese Animation studio (Long) is kicking it into high gear.

Oh and to the anonymous poster (Jenny), Long doesn’t stink. Well not always. He showers like once a week. Maybe.

Hey look, it’s a drawing

Long drew this

I can now pretend that I have a cartoon on Adult Swim, and this is my production blog! Isn’t that neat?

(Long drew the bedroom – I thought it was pretty good, thus the post)
