Well turns out I didn’t need a reason for week number 3. I made an executive decision – go on a Thursday (Last Thursday 1/18). And it’s a good thing too. Saturday was AcDec, and Sunday was spent putting out fires at work. There wouldn’t have been any time to see Children of Men! I’m such a leader, maybe I should form an exploratory committee.
Anyways, Children of Men. It was delicious, like eating some amazing cake. Watching it, I could feel love.
It may just be the best movie of 2006. If not, definitely the best Science Fiction movie of 2006.

but….why would you go through so much trouble to save one freakin baby? it would be one thing if they said they said there might be another baby somewhere for it to mate with, or if they could clone humans and implant a frozen fetus into the baby once it grows up, but they implied no such thing. i would sooo not risk my life to save a baby with no possibility of continuing the human race.
