When you’re working, the weekend flies by. Those 2 days are like nothing. It’s fleeting. Ephemeral.
I saw King Kong on Saturady. I feel asleep twice. Once in the beginning and then at the end. Not because the movie was bad, I was just tired. But the movie wasn’t great either. The box office reflected that, only $50 million. It was entertaining, you can’t get enough of Kong beating up dinosaurs. But I just didn’t “believe” it. I’m not crazy, I know it’s fantasy. It’s just the idea of Kong being a sort of “brilliant beast”, I just couldn’t embrace. So in conclusion, it’s no Syriana.
Also, Buy.com has a warehouse in Addison. You can probably get by with the free shipping, instead of springing for FedEx 2nd Day.

I think you’re wrong or maybe I misunderstand you. The movie didn’t try to paint Kong as some brilliant animal who was truly good but the world didn’t understand, and so made of monster of him- which is the story of Frankenstein by the way (the original novel by Mary Shelley, not even the “Mary Shelley’s Frankestein” movie which was pretty terrible- everytime I see a Frankenstein movie now, I weep because the original story was just so good and no one (in the movie biz) gets it).
Kong was just a regular giant ape trying to make his way in the world. Its more believable than Warriors of Virtue.
