I was just over at All Music Guide and saw this
It just surprised me since Kenickie is just way out in left field. They were just one of the many bands the came and went with the Britpop explosion, you never hear about them except for retrospectives and such. That’s not say they’re a bad band, they’re actually pretty good. Definitely in the fun category.
Here are two songs, one from each of their albums Come Out 2Nite from At The Club It starts with handclaps, you can’t lose. Plus it’s about going out and having a good time. I Would Fix You from Get In I’m not sure what this song is about, but I like it.
Kenickie proves that (mostly) girl bands (there was a guy) don’t have to suck.

This band isn’t bad either. I love hand claps! I think there’s some unspoken trade agreement that you can only put handclaps in great songs
